Policy on Multiple Submissions

BDEE will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review, is accepted for publication, or has already been published in another conference or a journal. Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during the BDEE reviewing period.

BDEE is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.

If the author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the following acts of sanction will be taken:

  • Reject the article submitted or delete the article from the final publications.

  • Report the authors violation to his/her supervisor(s) and affiliated institution(s)

  • Report the authors violation to the appropriate overseeing office of academic ethics and research funding agency.

  • Reserve the right to publish the authors name(s), the title of the article, the name(s) of the affiliated institution and the details of misconduct, etc. of the plagiarism.

Double-blind Peer Review

The double-blind peer review process BDEE2025 used aims to maintain the integrity and quality of academic publications by minimizing potential biases that could arise from personal relationships, affiliations, or reputation. This approach focuses the evaluation on the scientific merit of the work, helping to ensure that only high-quality and well-researched articles are published in the conference proceedings.

Reviewer Selection: The editors select experts in the field, typically other researchers or academics, to review the manuscript. These reviewers are chosen based on their expertise in the subject matter of the article.

Blinding: In a double-blind review, the identities of the authors and reviewers are concealed from each other. Authors do not know who is reviewing their manuscript, and reviewers do not know the identities of the authors.

Review Process: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript for its quality, originality, methodology, relevance, and overall contribution to the field. They provide feedback, suggestions, and recommendations for improvements.

Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the technical program committee makes a decision on whether to accept the manuscript, request revisions, or reject it. Authors receive feedback that helps them improve the manuscript if revisions are requested.

Revisions and Resubmission: If revisions are requested, authors make the necessary changes to address the reviewers' comments and suggestions. The revised manuscript is then resubmitted.

Final Decision: The revised manuscript is re-evaluated by the reviewers to ensure that the authors have adequately addressed the feedback. A final decision is made regarding acceptance for publication.
