Abstract / 论坛简介

The widespread adoption of digital platforms and the explosive growth of social media data have made the study of human information behavior and social computing a critical frontier in information science. By integrating theories from psychology, sociology, and computer science, this field seeks to understand how individuals and communities interact with information in digital environments. This special session aims to bring together researchers to explore the mechanisms of information dissemination, user engagement, and social influence in online spaces, while addressing emerging challenges such as misinformation diffusion and algorithmic fairness. We hope to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and advance methodologies for analyzing and interpreting complex social information phenomena.

数字平台的普及与社交媒体数据的爆炸式增长，使得信息行为与社会计算研究成为信息科学领域的重要前沿。通过融合心理学、社会学与计算机科学的理论，本领域致力于理解个体和群体在数字环境中的信息交互规律。本专题旨在汇聚学界力量，共同探索在线空间中信息传播、用户参与与社会影响的机制，同时应对虚假信息扩散、算法公平等新兴挑战。我们希望搭建跨学科对话平台，推动社会信息复杂现象分析与解读的方法创新。
